Graduation parade information
We're excited to have the opportunity to parade from Whitireia Porirua Campus to Te Rauparaha Arena the morning of graduation.
Graduands need to meet in front of Campus Services by 9:15AM and the parade will start from Gate 4 at 9:30AM.
The blue ‘X’ marks the meet point for the procession on the map below.
Who can join the procession:
- Graduands are invited to the morning hikoi at 9:15AM.
- Whānau and friends, along with Whitireia and WelTec kaimahi are welcome to join in support of our graduands.
- We request graduands do not parade from campus to the arena at any time, other than for the 9:15AM hikoi, as there will be no traffic management in place.
- Graduands do not have to join the procession. If you choose not to hikoi, head straight to the arena for your ceremony time.
- If you need assistance along the hikoi route, please speak to one of the organisers on the day.
