This year, we are excited to be showcasing two of our central Wellington locations – Te Auaha, New Zealand Institute of Creativity at 65 Dixon Street, and the School of Hospitality & Tourism at 52 Cuba Street.

We look forward to welcoming students from the Wellington Region and beyond to find out what accessible, quality programmes are on offer in Wellington.

 

Open Day Programme (9am – 1pm) 

(Te Auaha Matinee Show will conclude at 2pm)

Here is a sample of what we have confirmed for Open Day – more activities will be added soon!

Te Auaha: 65 Dixon Street

10.00am: See our Makeup Artistry students in action and take a our through the classes.

11.30am: Enjoy the stunning sounds of original music from our talented music students.

1.00pm: Our Year 1 Commercial Dance Students will perform a matinee show. Or, take a look into our Year 2 & 3 classes as an observer or a participant!

All Day: Observe or take part in our Samoa, Cook Islands and Commercial Dance classes. Take a peek at our Musical Theatre Rehearsals for The Addams Family, or the Acting or Circus classes. Watch our Beauty Therapy students as they perform facials during their class, or relax with a 15 minute neck/shoulder massage. Be inspired by exhibitions showcasing work from our Jewellery and Visual Arts students.

Hospitality & Tourism: 52 Cuba Street

Have a chat with some of our Hospitality tutors and students, and observe Cooking and Baking classes in action. Have a go at dipping filled choux buns into chocolate, with a selection of toppings!

222 Willis Student Accommodation

One of Wellington’s newest student accommodation facilities, 222 Willis Street, will also be open for students to view. 222 Willis houses students from over 15 tertiary locations in Wellington.

Transport between tertiary providers in Wellington will be available.
