Lisa Tomlins is a lecturer for the Bachelor of Applied Arts (Music) and Certificate in Rock, Jazz and Commercial Music programmes, teaches vocals, band workshops, improvisation and performance.
With over 20 years’ experience in the music industry as a professional vocalist, Lisa has toured extensively throughout Australasia, Asia, Europe and the United States with the likes of Fly My Pretties, Hollie Smith, Shapeshifter, Fat Freddie’s Drop, Sola Rosa and Rhombus. She continues to tour regularly, most recently with Lord Echo in Japan and with Neil Finn on his Dizzy Heights World Tour.
Lisa is also a judge for Smokefree Pacifica Beats, Rockquest and Rockshop Bandquest, and is a mentor for the New Zealand Music Commission’s Mentors in Schools programme.
